DIY Circular Saw Guide | Build One in a Few Simple Steps
Most woodworkers have a circular saw. I’m not sure about you but I have found it very difficult to cut an accurate square line when using one. I came across this jig a few years ago and decided to make one for myself.
Most woodworkers have a circular saw. I’m not sure about you but I have found it very difficult to cut an accurate square line when using one. I came across this jig a few years ago and decided to make one for myself. It was made in less than a day and I have had it in my shop ever since. There are tools out there that will accomplish the same task, specifically track saws, but they can be fairly expensive. You can pay anywhere from $300 to $800 dollars for a quality track saw, depending on the brand you go with. There is absolutely no reason to spend that kind of money when you are just starting out as a woodworker. This jig can accomplish the same task as a track saw, a little less eloquently, but accomplish it none the less. If you are interested in seeing how I built mine you can check out my video on YouTube.
