Foldable DIY 2x4 Sawhorses | Store Them Anywhere in Your Shop

For a long time I had a single car garage workshop and the real estate I had in that shop was minimal. I had no interest in wasting valuable floor space on a set of saw horses so I made do when I needed to. It wasn’t until I realized that I could make a folding set that I came back around to the idea of making a pair. Folding saw horses are not new and people have made how-to’s on these before but I thought I would post a video tutorial anyways. Although, I am in a much bigger shop now and could store a set of standard saw horses I still decided to build a set of collapsible ones. Why give up shop space when you don’t have to? The following video shows you how I made mine and I have linked the associated plans at the bottom of this article.

Having to drag my compressor around the shop when I needed it was becoming a chore. I am frequently using my brad nailer for various projects and wanted a way to easily move the compressor from place to place. I based the design on a few different mobile shop carts I had seen on YouTube and adapted various concepts from those carts into this one. There are many compressors on the market that have the same general shape as mine and this cart can easily be adapted to work for those as well. If your interested in building one for yourself see the link at the bottom of this post to download them.

DIY Circular Saw Guide | Build One in a Few Simple Steps
Most woodworkers have a circular saw. I’m not sure about you but I have found it very difficult to cut an accurate square line when using one. I came across this jig a few years ago and decided to make one for myself.
Most woodworkers have a circular saw. I’m not sure about you but I have found it very difficult to cut an accurate square line when using one. I came across this jig a few years ago and decided to make one for myself. It was made in less than a day and I have had it in my shop ever since. There are tools out there that will accomplish the same task, specifically track saws, but they can be fairly expensive. You can pay anywhere from $300 to $800 dollars for a quality track saw, depending on the brand you go with. There is absolutely no reason to spend that kind of money when you are just starting out as a woodworker. This jig can accomplish the same task as a track saw, a little less eloquently, but accomplish it none the less. If you are interested in seeing how I built mine you can check out my video on YouTube.
